Okay, be honest: how did your eating habits fare over the long weekend? Did the pecan pie lure you in with its siren song? That one gets me every year.* Maybe it was the sweet potatoes? Or Leftovers? Those can be tricky bastards.
Or maybe you rocked out and didn’t overindulge? Or burned lots of calories power shopping on Black Friday (I did!). Confess to all of that too so we can give you a well-deserved pat on the back.
*Not that I put up a big fight. I gladly skipped the stuffing and gravy to justify a slice of Mom’s pecan pie.

I actually didn’t fall off the wagon too much. Had a bit of cobbler but other than that was on track. Who the hell am I?!

I. Was. Awful.
I posted all about it on my blog (http://www.watermelonwaistline.com/2009/11/old-habits-die-hard/) but needless to say, I’ve got a lot of ground to make up.
Sounds like you did pretty well!

Interesting blog
I did fantastic on Thanksgiving (mostly due to an awesome lowfat pumpkin muffin recipe)

I fell way off the wagon. It was hard since our roadtrip to my mom’s started on Tuesday and we came home on Saturday. I was back on track with exercise and eating right starting on Sunday

That kind of long roadtrip is ROUGH. Go you getting back on track!

I skipped the booze in favor of dessert and happily indulged in the regular holiday fixin’s but limited it to one plateful and only 2 tablespoons of each side.
Returning to my own out-of-state home after the big day was instrumental in leaving behind a week’s worth of tempting leftovers.
Pecan pie is a once-a-year thing and worth fitting in. I think you made a good trade-off!

I puked early Friday morning! I thought I had done okay, Thanksgiving-wise, but apparently the sugar did me in (that’s the only thing I can think of that I can blame).

Aww poor Nathan! I’ve had the sugar overload puke before and it was not pleasant.

Got your email.
THANK YOU!

Okay, weird request, especially since I’m a first time visitor. Can you erase my last comment? I have two blogs through wordpress and I’ve just recently started one of them and I’m trying to keep my other blog seperate. Somehow my comment linked to that blog though. (I don’t mind if you read it, I just want to keep my weight loss blog anon because people that I know IRL read it.)
Here is my comment again. Hopefully it works this time. (Sorry)
I did pretty bad over Thanksgiving, but I’ve been doing bad for about a month now. (I don’t know why I can do well for awhile and then I just stop.) So I’m back on the wagon again. Hopefully I can stay there this time.

No worries Jenn, I trashed the old comment. Thanks for reading! Good luck staying on the wagon — it’s rough but you can do it!
